Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress best known for her role as a main character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters and Venevision Television series Cosita linda & Voltea pa' which she are enamored. Emeraude Toubia also is a talented dancer and model. She hails from Montreal however, she grew up studying in Texas. Her passion for dancing has been in her since childhood. At a very young age she's been studied a variety different styles of dancing. When she was 15 she was competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. Her acting debut came in 2010, portraying a receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's television show Aurora. In 2015, she was in her debut feature film, an action drama called Tattooed Love. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter was praised by the Teen Choice Awards in both the years 2017 and 2018, for her performance as Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
