Jeanie Marie Buss is an American businesswoman from the United States. She is currently the president as president of the Los Angeles Lakers, the owner of the National Basketball Association. Buss is the daughter of a California native who grew in a wealthy family. Jerry Buss, her father, was an entrepreneur with a real estate business who later was the owner of Lakers Entertainment and Sports. When her parents split in 1972 She began feeling as if she was abandoned. In 1972, at age 19, she was employed for the family's business. After that, she established the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. She was the president at the Great Western Forum, before becoming Vice president of the Lakers. Buss took over the Lakers from her father in the year 2013. Five siblings of hers inherited it through a family estate trust. In 2013, Buss took charge for Los Angeles Lakers. Los Angeles Lakers.
